Het Schrijfhuis van Wolters-Noordhoff biedt een doorgaande lijn technisch schrijven voor de groepen 1 t/m 8. De methode sluit aan bij Leeshuis beginnend lezen: in de gebruikte thema’s en de volgorde waarin de letters worden behandeld. Nieuw verworven letterkennis wordt zo snel mogelijk omgezet in schrijfvaardigheid.
Emmia heeft de software bij Schrijfhuis vormgegeven en geproduceerd. Hiermee wordt het voor de leerkracht mogelijk om oefenstof op maat en relevante inhouden aan te bieden.
De software bij Schrijfhuis biedt onbeperkt extra oefening voor kinderen die moeite hebben met het inprenten van de schrijfbeweging. Op het scherm wordt de beweging langzaam voorgedaan; een voice-over geeft verbale ondersteuning. Het schrijftempo is instelbaar. U kunt de software zowel losse letters als woorden laten schrijven. Alle combinaties en verbindingen kunnen worden gemaakt. De letters worden op liniatuur geschreven.
Met de software kunt u extra oefenbladen maken voor zwakke of goede schrijvers, maar ook om aan te sluiten op een project dat u in de klas uitvoert. Daarbij kunt u beschikken over alle letters en verbindingen en vijf liniatuurformaten. Met de software kunt u bovendien pijlenletterkaarten printen voor gebruik bij uw instructie.

The Wolters-Noordhoff Writing House offers a continuous line of technical writing for groups 1 to 8. The method is in line with Leeshuis beginning reading: in the themes used and the order in which the letters are treated.
