Zodra een cursist de lesauto instapt, is hij één van de vele bestuurders op het wegennet van Nederland met zijn complexe infrastructuur, verkeersregels en -tekens, en vaak lastige weg- en weersomstandigheden. Met RIS krijgt de cursist stap voor stap inzicht in al die verkeerssituaties, risico’s en gevaren.
Voor nóg meer effect heeft VekaBest - uitgeverij in verkeersleermiddelen, een app geintroduceerd met praktische instructiefilmpjes die naadloos aansluit bij de succesvolle methodiek Rijopleiding In Stappen (RIS).
Emmia ontwikkelde de RIS app voor VekaBest. De app is geschikt voor Android tablet pc’s.
De app bevat RIS praktijkinstructie met videoclips die in de lesauto gebruikt wordt om de cursist optimaal te instrueren bij onder andere: wegrijden, kruispunten, afslaan, invoegen, rijstrook wisselen, zijdelings verplaatsen, inhalen, uitrijden en rijden onder specifieke omstandigheden.
Bij elke nieuwe verkeerssituatie of verkeershandeling die de cursist gaat oefenen, wordt vooraf in de auto de bijbehorende videoclip bekeken op een tablet pc met touchscreen beeldscherm. De cursist ziét hoe hij moet handelen en welke aandachtspunten er zijn. Zo groeien zijn inzicht en zelfvertrouwen, nog voordat hij daadwerkelijk in de praktijk gaat oefenen. Zo wordt elke kleine stap een sprong vooruit!
